The gap doesn’t have to be acceptable to anyone. It doesn’t care that Richard lost his job and his wife sally is workin double shifts to provide for their family and sick kid. It doesn’t care how lavish and comfortable Brian and Rebecca are living. It’s sole purpose is to provide what where when and how much.
